Task 5: The Complaint Letter (With Revision)

Hi, guys! Meet me again in the weekly task. This week is about a complaint letter. The situation is that the council where you live is going to build a new supermarket near my residence. Later on, you disagree with the plan for several reasons. Then, I write a complaint letter.

Dear Sir/Madam,

            I am writing in order to complaint about your plan to build a new supermarket near my residence.

            Respectfully, I do not agree with that plan for several reasons. Firstly, it the residence where I live is a crowded residence. Then, if you build a new supermarket, I think that it will be much more crowded.

            Secondly, by building that supermarket, it means that you have to chop down the trees around there. It may cause the temperature increases.

            Finally, my residence has a narrow street. If you build that supermarket, then there will be more vehicles passing the street. It may cause a big traffic jam.

            I am looking forward to hearing from you at your latest convenience.

Dear sir/madam,

            The English Movie Appreciation Community (EMAC) are planning to hold a movie screening on May 20. This movie screening is called EMACFlicks. A few weeks ago, I saw the Himpunan Mahasiswa Bahasa Perancis (HIPER) use some equipments from the PLA in their movie screening. They looked good, while the HIPER were using them. So, as the person in charge, I am going to ask some equipments to borrow. Here is the list of equipments:

1.      the CINE CLUB room,

2.      3 microphones with the cables,

3.      3 guitar amplifiers,

4.      3 guitar plug cables,

5.      5 mats,

6.      3 bcakdrops,

7.      4 tables, and

8.      10 small chairs.

Those are the equipments we are going to borrow. I would be thankful if you could tell me if the equipments are available.
